To open this 51st edition of the Festival de la Cité, the Zagaza collective will bring the Antilles carnival to Lausanne. How you may ask? With their moving float, lively performances and soca and shatta dancehall, among other surprises. You'll almost forget you're in Lausanne. The Antilles carnival celebration is a manifestation of the rights and freedoms of oppressed populations. This festive start of the Festival will take place in public space to remind us that every identity has the right to exist. So come and let yourself get carried away!
