This duo presents hybrid music that draws as much from electronic music as from musical research on traditional songs and rhythms from the Iberian Peninsula. Building bridges between popular Iberian music and modern explorations, Maestro Espada subtly alternates lyrics and motives where melancholy and violent passions meet. Their fragile and sovereign music is a meeting point, where the notions of ancient and contemporary fade away. The public of the Cité is invited to discover modern and eternal folklore.
