BOUCHERIE[s] is a raw tale that takes us into the backroom of the meat industry. We meet a passionate apprentice, a washed-up temp, a killer pig and a pig killer. Based on the novels Comme une bête by Joy Sorman, À la ligne by Joseph Ponthus and La vache by Beat Sterchi, this performance-concert takes us into the food industry and the invisible costs of our nutrition. Probing the bruised flesh of slaughterhouse employees and the animals that die there, Jonas Lambelet's words are set in the dense sound universe of musicians Dominic Frey, Alexis Hanhart and Grégoire Quartier.

Founded in Lausanne in 2017 by Jonas Lambelet, hitzAhitz exists above all through and for encounters.More than highlighting a person or a given aesthetic, each creation is an opportunity to bring together artists, whatever their practice, to question our ways of inhabiting the world today. Indisciplined, because beyond categories. Committed to the mixture and proliferation of genres. Occult because it deploys a "theatre of the equivocal" where behind each meaning the threads of other possibilities are woven. Political because it questions our ways of being together, in pairs, in hundreds, in our physical and social bodies. HitzAhitz is a perpetual movement of association and dissolution.
