TRAIT(s) is an essay in graphic circus, inspired by the works of painters Joan Miro and Vassili Kandinsky. TRAIT(s) features a circus artist on the Cyr wheel, who, accompanied by a live musician, combines acrobatics and live painting. In its form and in its message, from acrobatics to addressing the public in a circular way, this show aims to explore the shape of a circle in order to explore what makes up a circus. TRAIT(s) is a show in which art is matter, and that is not afraid to end up covered in paint.
Coline Garcia is a graduate of the CNAC. Since the creation of the company SCoM, her work as an author has focused on writing for young audiences. Her company's artistic projects are based on the democratisation of creative circus amongst the public, focusing on the contemporary iconography of circus arts.
