Let's take a walk among the musical instruments and sound devices made from everyday objects and materials: carrelophone, scratch turntable, vitrophone, cymbalum, conservissonne, baudruchophone, pisphone... Everything is designed to shake the hands and ears of little maestros in this circuit for young children, inviting every participant to play solo or in groups! There will be time for collective exploration of the circuit, as well as discovery of the instruments and collective sound games.
Initiated in 2016 by sound artist Benoît Poulain in Normandy, the Du grain à moudre collective brings together artists in the fields of musical creation, sound and visual arts. As explorers of sound, they mix experimental instrument-making with original listening and participation devices, encountering different musical styles depending on the project.
