Passionate about music for as long as she can remember, it was only during the first confinement that Madame Xangò decided to take the art of djing more seriously. She draws her inspiration from the Antillean music that rocked her childhood but also from techno, afrobeats, Nigerian house and pop.
This Dj set takes place as part of the curation of Zagaza. Zagaza is a laboratory and collective of Afrodescendant artists in the French speaking part of Switzerland that extends its artistic universe to black conscious art. To start this 51st edition of the Festival de la Cité, Zagaza will bring the Antilles carnival to Lausanne. This festive start of the Festival will take place in public space to remind us that every identity has the right to exist, and to defend the rights and freedoms of oppressed populations.
