House of Perreo

House of Perreo is a collective of DJs from Lausanne who create parties mainly based on Latinx music. The styles played during the evening are Reggaetón, Dancehall, Afro, Guaracha, Baile Funk and electronic mixes of all these styles. HOP also collaborates organically with Spanish and French speaking rappers from the Lausanne region to create dynamic interludes during their sets.

El Perreo: the life force of a boiling dance floor filled with sweaty bodies is what unites the members of HOP. Coming from the four corners of the world, they find themselves playing together in Lausanne, eager for the Creole rhythms that link the two sides of the Atlantic. Through their sets, a borderless cartography emerges that defies all expectations of the Latinx sound.

This Dj set takes place as part of the curation of Zagaza. Zagaza is a laboratory and collective of Afrodescendant artists in the French speaking part of Switzerland that extends its artistic universe to black conscious art.
