With Histoires de piscines, the collective Caractères mobiles aims to give voice to the life and atmosphere of Lausanne's neighbourhood swimming pools. They will collect stories from swimmers and pool-goers of all kinds during their residency in different pools. At the end of this residency, on Sunday 09.07, a public reading will be held at the Place Saint-Maur and broadcasted on Loose Antenna.
Come and take part in this peculiar type of vacation at the beach, a distant (but local!) cousin of the seaside holiday.
Caractères mobiles is a collective of authors composed of Catherine Favre, Mathias Howald, and Benjamin Pécoud. The collective is inspired by the figure of the public writer, whose practice is extended to texts and to literary needs. In doing so, it places encounters at the centre of its writing process.
